When Autumn and Ben approached me to photograph their family elopement, they told me that privacy was the most important part of their special day. Unfortnatuly Acadia isn't like the photos and privacy can be hard to find in the summer tourist season. However, they were open to exploring different parts of downeast Maine and we were able to find beautiful scenery and solitude!
The afternoon began with the children helping their parents dress for the first look.
We traveled a beautiful mossy trail that led to a rocky shoreline.
In a touching ceremony, mom and dad shared vows with each other as well as each child. I struggled not to choke up through this. It was so touching and you can tell that there is just SO much love in this family.
Instead of cake we enjoyed delicious homemade ice cream!
We finished the day on the beach, toasting to love.. We packed champagne and all the ingredients for Shirley Temples!
Congratulations L. Family! <3
