Trish & Mike met out west ( where they both live now) and hit it off right away. They weren't sure it would happen for them, but the two found love again in each other and knew they wanted to spend the rest of their lives together. Mike, who had spent many summers at his family camp in Rangeley, Maine, had hopes of a quiet wedding with close friends and family at a place that meant so much to him. Trish was on board and they set a date.
It's no secret that the Maine Lakes and Mountains region holds a special place in my own heart and I jumped at the opportunity to help capture their wedding story.
The mountains and lakes make a dreamy backdrop for a wedding and family camps are rich in memories of family vacations and summer fun.
The couple opted for a first look since they would be walking down the aisle together. It also allowed us a little time for portraits together and with their children in private before the festivities began.
While we had hoped for a bit of the golden hour light during their ceremony, the weather didn't cooperate. It stayed dry though and the temps were perfect for an evening under the tent.
Wishing Trish & Mike many happy years together. <3
