Nicole & Jon waited much too long for their special day thanks to COVID. So long that they decided to just say " I DO" at home in a quick ceremony while they waited for the day they both dreamed of.
Let me tell you, this day was WORTH the wait. Hardy Farm is a magical venue in Fryburg Maine. It has featured a woodland chapel for the ceremony, a tent for dining, garden for cocktails and a barn for dancing the night away.
It's really one of my favorite venues around.
At the farmhouse the ladies were getting ready. Nicole had her talented friends help her with hair and makeup.

Downstairs mom helped with finishing touches and gave her a special note to read before walking down the aisle.

Then it came time for the first look. Absolutely love that despite being already married, these two were so emotional. This really was their real wedding day, the day they had been dreaming of.

We did their portraits in the formal garden where the light was just gorgeous.

As always I try hard to create portraits that feel natural and showcases their real personality.
I always get traditional images too because these classic shots of the bride are must haves.
We had some fun with the wedding party and did a few family formals as well.

The girls wanted a vogue look with was fun to do.

The woodland ceremony featured close friends providing music and song.

Again, there was so much beautiful emotion. These are favorite ceremonies to capture.

The KISS!

After the ceremony guests went out to the lawn for games and cocktails.

Cocktails and dinner took place in the tent.

I giggled when I saw the kids just barely making it over the drink bar.

They had a fun temporary tattoo table with custom stickers as well as other fun ones.

By the end of the night every guest had a temporary tattoo.
Their sweet first dance:
Then we moved onto speeches.
For dinner they served......CHIPOTLE. Be still my heart.
A few of the tattoos sported by guests:

Guests munched on donuts before heading to he dance floor.

Nicole and Jon preformed an amazing choreographed song that they danced to early on in their relationship.
Instead of a guest book, they opted to have guests autograph a jersey for them. A groomsman presented it to the couple by instructing everyone to cheer them on like they were a favorite team winning the stanley cup. The energy was infectious with guests roaring, stomping and raising their hands- such a cool experience.

They ended evening tearing up the dance floor.
