Kevin & Crystal's Seaside Maine, Backyard Wedding

Kevin & Crystal were feeling burnt out by the wedding industry and COVID by the time they reached out to me. They felt so frustrated by the extreme cost of wedding venues, catering, and well..just everything really. Add in a global pandemic and they felt pretty hopeless that their wedding was going to happen the way they envisioned it going.

Crystal had a realization then..." who says we have to have our wedding this way"? With a little nudge from family letting them know it was going to be OK to have a micro-wedding, they went headfirst to bringing to life a totally different vision.

Together they made the decor, friends and family made the food, and they borrowed a friend's oceanfront home in Oguqnuit for the venue. Sure they couldn't host as many people as they originally planned but the event was just as touching, romantic, and personal, if not more so.
