2020 couples were delt so many unexpected blows to their wedding planning. But lucky for my couples, most were already leaning towards an intimate event to begin with. Laura & Jamie had a slightly larger wedding planned but with travel restrictions and health concerns weighing on their minds, they opted with shrink their event down to a gathering of just 4.
Their day was incredibly relaxed and fun and thanks to zoom, their loved ones were able to partipiate in the most important moments.
Their day began at the Drift Oceanside Inn where Laura and Jamie rented two cute cottages side by side where they could could great ready separatly.
Laura passed on a long traditional gown for this super fun, tea length dress with pockets!
Their ceremony was held at the Vesper Hill Children's Chapel overlooking the ocean. A quiet location in the woods that can only accomoate a few.
After they shared their vows, we explored around Camden Harbor for their portraits.
We kept our portrait session short to be able to get back and celebrate!
Back at the Inn, Laura, Jamie and their witnesses gathered around the picknic area for champagne toast and cake.
They also shared toasts via zoom and a sweet first dance!
They were kind enough to send me home with a slice of cake and let's just say...it didn't make it home. YUM!
